My impression of a hand-painted silk kimono by Itchiku Kubota at his art museum, Mount Fuji, Japan. I visited Japan with an art group in November 2014 and there will be more paintings to follow. Acrylic on canvas. 20" x 15". Commissions welcome.

Painting this amazing creature started my love of wildlife and their inner strength and determination to survive.

This image was so calming especially at sunset when the heat of the day has ended. I visited Namibia on safari with an art group in April 2012 and it was such an inspiration. I took many photos and sketches plus painting in watercolour. I will be doing many more paintings from this safari trip.
